Brief Introduction
TONY Biomass Pellet Machine is primarily designed for medium- and large-scale processing plants. It is a new generation of energy-saving, green power products developed by our company. It compresses crushed wood, corn stalks, plant waste, bamboo powder, grass, straw, rice husks, and other materials into pellets. The machine utilizes bipolar speed regulation, offering low power consumption, a rational structure, and is economical and durable.
TONY pellet mill mainly consists of vertical ring die series models (such as TYJ551/TYJ760/TYJ860), which use alloy steel rollers and ring dies

Working Principle
The working principle of wood pellet processing is to utilize mechanical power, through the friction between the rollers and the die, to extrude the powdered material through the die under high pressure.
No additives or binders are required during the processing. Wood chips, straw, and other materials contain a certain amount of cellulose and lignin. Lignin is a structural monomer in the material, a phenylpropane-type polymer that strengthens cell walls and binds cellulose. Lignin is an amorphous substance that is primarily insoluble in all solvents at room temperature and has no melting point, but it does have a softening point. When the temperature reaches a certain level, the lignin softens and its binding force increases. Under a certain pressure, the cellulose molecules are dislocated, deformed, and stretched, and adjacent biomass particles intermesh and recombine to form the pressed pellets.

Suitable Raw Materials
Raw Materials: Wood, waste wood, and straw, such as wood chips (palm, white pine, mahogany, spruce, rubber), bamboo chips, rice husks, seed shells, peanut shells, palm fronds, bahia, wheat straw, corn stalks, cotton stalks, alfalfa, rye grass, palm fiber, waste paper, and non-physical materials.
Size: 2-4 mm (All raw materials must be crushed into sawdust before entering the wood pellet machine. If this is not done, you may need a wood chip crusher or sawdust crusher.)
Moisture Content: Generally, a moisture content of 10-15% is optimal for producing high-quality wood pellets.
