Brief Introduction

The fruit shell pellet mill  is a heavy-duty biomass pelletizing equipment specifically upgraded for high-hardness, high-silica, and high-wear-resistant materials, and is often referred to by customers as a hard material pellet mill. Unlike ordinary wood pellet mills, this machine is specifically designed for various nut shells and hard-shell biomass waste, solving the pain points of ordinary machines such as difficulty in pressing, rapid wear, poor forming quality, and easy clogging. The equipment uses high-pressure extrusion to compress loose nut shell materials into high-density, high-calorie, and fire-resistant cylindrical biomass pellets. Working Principle

The nut shell pellet mill adopts a vertical ring die high-pressure extrusion molding principle, using physical cold pressing throughout the process, eliminating the need for any adhesives:

1. Pre-treatment: Various nut shell materials are crushed to a uniform fineness, then dried and adjusted to the optimal pelleting range of 12%–15% moisture content;

2. Uniform feeding: Material enters the pelleting chamber uniformly, and the vertical feeding method eliminates bridging and clogging problems;

3. High-pressure extrusion: High-precision thickened pressure rollers and wear-resistant ring dies powerfully crush the material, utilizing the lignin contained within the material itself to soften and bind it under high-pressure friction and heating;

4. Extrusion molding: Material is forced through the ring die holes, extruded into high-density cylindrical pellets;

5. Cutting and discharge: High-speed cutters uniformly cut the material, forming uniformly sized, highly compact finished pellets, which are then cooled, sieved, and packaged for storage and use.
