Brief Introduction
The rice husk and straw mixed pellet mill is a vertical ring die biomass pelletizing equipment, specifically designed for the characteristics of rice husk and straw mixtures. It can directly mix and extrude rice husks and straw in a certain proportion to produce high-density biomass pellets. The rice husk and straw mixed pellet mill features a reinforced feeding and extrusion structure, solving the problems of long straw fibers and loose rice husk texture that make them difficult to shape. The finished pellets are dense and uniform. It can operate as a standalone mill or be connected to crushing, feeding, cooling, and screening equipment to form a complete pellet production line, meeting the needs of small- to medium-sized and large-scale biomass pelletizing production.
Working Principle
The rice husk and straw mixed pellet mill feeds the crushed rice husk and straw mixture with a suitable moisture content into the pelleting chamber. The strong extrusion force is generated by the relative rotation of the pressure roller and the ring die. The rice husk and straw mixture is squeezed and rubbed between the pressure roller and the ring die hole. The lignin inside the material softens when heated and acts as a binder, and is forced to be squeezed out of the ring die hole. The formed strip material is cut by the cutter inside the mill to produce rice husk and straw mixed pellets of uniform size.

Suitable Raw Materials
The rice husk and straw mixed pellet mill is mainly used for processing mixed raw materials of rice husk and straw, and can also process rice husk and straw separately; it is also compatible with various agricultural and forestry wastes such as corn stalks, wheat straw, peanut shells, sawdust, and sunflower seed shells. The raw materials need to be crushed in advance and the moisture content needs to be controlled within a reasonable range to ensure the pelleting effect.
