Brief Introduction

The nut shell pellet mill is a highly versatile biomass forming mill specifically designed for processing various types of hard nut shells. It is specifically adapted to the characteristics of nut shells with uneven hardness, high lignin content, high abrasiveness, and difficult forming. Ordinary general-purpose pellet mills often experience rapid wear, unstable forming, and large fluctuations in production capacity when processing mixed nut shells. The nut shell pellet mill, however, uses adjustable compression ratio molds, reinforced wear-resistant pressure rollers, and a heavy-duty transmission structure, making it suitable for batch production of mixed nut shells. It can uniformly compress various waste nut shells into high-density, high-calorific-value, and standardized biomass pellets. The equipment is widely adaptable, operates stably, and has a low failure rate, making it suitable for nut processing plants, solid waste recycling bases, and small to medium-sized biomass pellet plants. Working Principle

The nut shell pellet mill uses a purely physical high-pressure extrusion molding process, requiring no chemical binders. Various nut shell raw materials, after being crushed, sieved, and conditioned, are evenly fed into the pellet mill's molding chamber. The equipment uses heavy-duty pressure rollers to continuously crush, knead, and densify the hard nut shell material under high pressure. Friction heating activates the nut shell's natural lignin, and the material solidifies and forms due to the material's own fiber bonding force. The material is extruded through precision die holes under high pressure, automatically cut to length by a cutter, and then air-cooled to solidify into regular and uniform nut shell pellets. The entire process is automated and continuous, with a high forming rate and no material loss.

This nut shell pellet mill is primarily designed for processing a variety of nut shells, including hazelnut shells, walnut shells, cashew shells, pistachio shells, almond shells, and other hard nut shells. It is also compatible with palm shells, coconut shells, and other hard nut shells, and can be mixed with sawdust, straw, rice husks, and other agricultural and forestry materials for pelleting. Stable production is possible with a raw material moisture content controlled between 12% and 18%. It supports batch processing of single materials and mixed materials, offering flexible adaptability to various scenarios.
