Brief Introduction
A biomass pellet mill is a specialized molding equipment that uses high-pressure hot extrusion to press agricultural and forestry waste such as sawdust, straw, and nutshells into high-density cylindrical fuel pellets without the addition of chemical binders. It utilizes the softening of lignin within the material upon heating to act as a natural binder, transforming loose, low-density waste into clean energy pellets that are easy to store, transport, and burn. Processing Technology
Core Equipment Is Biomass Pellet Machine
Raw materials → Crushing → Grinding (fine powder) → Screening and impurity removal → Drying (when moisture content exceeds the standard) → Buffer silo → Pelletizer → Cooling and screening → Finished product silo → Packaging and warehousing. The pelletizer is the main forming machine of the entire production line; proper handling of raw materials and control of raw material moisture content are essential to producing qualified pellets.

List of Processable Raw Materials
1. Wood-based materials: Sawdust, wood shavings, wood chips, tree roots, waste wooden pallets, bark, bamboo powder
2. Agricultural waste: Wheat straw, corn stalks, rice husks, peanut shells, coffee shells, palm shells (PKS), empty palm fruit bunches (EFB), sugarcane bagasse, cotton stalks, sunflower seed shells
3. Others: Mushroom residue, garden pruning waste
Note: Sand, gravel, and metal must be removed before processing; moisture content must be controlled between 10-18%. Too dry, and it will be difficult to shape; too wet, and it will clog mold holes and result in loose particles.
Application Areas
1. Household Solid Fuel: Pellet fuel boasts high utilization rate, convenient storage and use, and is hygienic and safe, suitable for home heating.
2. Main Solid Fuel for Industrial Boilers: It can replace raw coal, heavy oil, and natural gas, reducing air pollution. Burning 10,000 tons of biomass fuel can replace 7,000 tons of standard coal, reducing sulfur dioxide emissions by 165 tons, soot emissions by 80 tons, and carbon dioxide emissions by 14,400 tons.
3. Thermal Power Generation: The fuel's calorific value can reach 3400-6000 kcal.
