Brief Introduction

Wheat Straw Pellet Mill is a biomass molding equipment specifically designed to process wheat straw and other crop straws, as well as agricultural and forestry waste, into pellet products. It can produce biomass fuel pellets and feed pellets, and is suitable for comprehensive utilization of straw in major wheat-producing areas, feed processing in livestock farms, biomass fuel processing stations, and agricultural waste resource utilization projects.

Wheat Straw Pellet Mill uses wheat straw, corn straw, rice straw, rice husks, sawdust, peanut shells, cotton stalks, etc., as main raw materials. Through crushing, moistening, extrusion, and molding processes, it compresses loose, bulky, and low-density wheat straw into uniform, high-density pellet products that are easy to store and transport. Common structures for wheat straw pellet mills include flat die pellet mills and ring die pellet mills. Flat die mills have a relatively simple structure and are suitable for small-scale processing; ring die mills have higher output and are suitable for continuous production. Wheat straw pellet mills can be used as standalone machines or integrated with crushers, dryers, coolers, screening machines, and packaging machines to form a complete production line.

Working Principle

Harvested wheat straw is first chipped into short fiber segments, then screened and magnetically separated to filter out soil, gravel and metal contaminants. Moisture conditioning is carried out to reach the suitable forming humidity, preventing fragile pellets or mold growth. Prepared wheat straw material is evenly conveyed into the pelletizing chamber for high-pressure extrusion. Hot newly formed pellets are transferred to the cooling sifter for temperature reduction and fines separation before packing.

The core raw material for wheat straw pellet mills is wheat straw, but they are also compatible with various agricultural and forestry biomass raw materials, including corn stalks, rice straw, rice husks, peanut vines, cotton stalks, branches, sawdust, wood shavings, and other crop straws and forestry by-products.
