Brief Introduction
A Cotton Stalk Pelletizer is a specialized piece of equipment used to compress agricultural waste such as cotton stalks into high-density biomass pellets. This machine uses a ring die extrusion molding principle, pressing loose cotton stalk fragments into regular cylindrical pellets under high temperature and pressure. The finished product has high density, high calorific value, and is easy to store and transport, making it a core processing equipment for realizing the resource utilization of agricultural and forestry waste.
Processing Technology
Core Equipment Is Cotton Stalk Pelletizer
The cotton stalk pellet processing adopts an integrated process flow of "pretreatment—crushing—drying—granulation—cooling—packaging":
Raw material pretreatment: Remove impurities and dirt from the cotton stalks.
Crushing: Crush the cotton stalks to 3-5mm fines using a crusher to ensure uniform pellet formation.
Drying: Control the moisture content of the crushed material to approximately 15%-20%.
High-pressure pelletizing: The material enters the pelletizing chamber and is formed into pellets through die holes under the pressure of a ring die and pressure rollers.
Cooling and screening: The high-temperature pellets are cooled and shaped by a cooler, and broken powder is screened out to improve the quality of the finished product.
Weighing and packaging: The finished pellets are automatically packaged after weighing for easy warehousing and logistics transportation.

Unique Advantages
1. Corrosion Resistance: A Fundamental Difference
Our 304 stainless steel pellet mill maintains stable operation under humid, high-temperature, and alternating acid and alkali conditions. In contrast, the passivation film on a 201 pellet mill is thin and incomplete.
The corrosion rate of 201 is more than four times that of 304.
2. Significance for Pellet Mill Users: The pelleting process involves high-temperature steam conditioning and materials with a moisture content of 15%-20%, placing the equipment in a constantly humid and hot environment. Under these conditions, 201 stainless steel is highly susceptible to pitting and rust spots, with corrosion spreading from the inside out, contaminating the finished pellets. 304 stainless steel, on the other hand, can operate stably for extended periods, preventing rust contamination.
