Brief Introduction
The beet straw pellet mill is a specialized pelletizing device developed for the high sugar content, pectin content, and relatively flexible nature of beet stems, leaves, and tailings. After harvesting, beet straw has high moisture content and is prone to rotting and spoilage, making direct storage difficult. The beet straw pellet mill can extrude pre-treated beet straw into dense and uniform pellets. This beet straw pellet mill can be used independently or connected to crushing, drying, and cooling equipment to form a complete processing line. It is suitable for sugarcane growing areas, facilitating the resource recycling of beet straw and turning waste into resources.
Working Principle
After being crushed, impurity removed, and moisture adjusted, the beet straw material is fed into the feeding chamber of the beet straw pellet mill. The material generates heat under the relative crushing friction between the pressure roller and the ring die. The pectin and fiber contained in the beet straw soften under heat and act as a natural binding medium. The material is continuously squeezed by external force to penetrate the die hole of the ring die. The extruded strip material is cut into standard length pellets by the built-in cutter. The high-temperature formed beet straw pellets are discharged from the machine. The entire process is physical extrusion, and no additional binder is needed to complete the pelleting operation.

Suitable Raw Materials
The core raw materials for processing are beet straw, beet stems and leaves, and beet processing by-products; it is also compatible with sunflower straw, reed straw, various crop straws, hay, sawdust and other biomass materials. The raw materials need to be crushed to a suitable particle size and the moisture content adjusted to the process range before being fed into the beet straw pellet mill for production.
