Brief Introduction

The hazelnut shell pellet mill is a specialized biomass pelletizing mill developed specifically for the high hardness, high lignosulfite content, and strong wear resistance of hazelnut shells. Utilizing reinforced transmission and wear-resistant die components, it overcomes the pain points of ordinary pellet mills, such as rapid wear, slippage of pressure rollers, and poor pelletizing quality when processing hard nut shells. It can compress waste hazelnut shells into high-density biomass pellets. Working Principle

Hazelnut shell pellet mills rely on physical high-pressure extrusion molding, eliminating the need for binders. Pre-treated hazelnut shells are fed into the forming chamber of the pellet mill, where pressure rollers continuously crush and extrude them. Friction heating activates the lignin within the material, and relying on the binding force of its own lignin, the material is forced through the die holes and extruded. The cutter automatically cuts the material into standard pellets, which, after cooling, result in compact and uniform hazelnut shell pellets. The entire process can be continuously automated.

The core raw material for this hazelnut shell pellet mill is hazelnut shells; it can also process various hard fruit shells such as walnut shells, apricot shells, peach shells, and coconut shells; it is also compatible with agricultural and forestry biomass raw materials such as sawdust, palm shells, and straw.

The raw material moisture content should be maintained at 12%-18%, and it can be put into the mill for production after crushing and screening.

Application Areas
