Working Principle

Collected walnut shells go through magnetic sorting and screening to eliminate metal scraps, mud clods and residual kernel debris. Raw shells are crushed into uniform granular pieces, and moisture content is precisely conditioned to fit compression requirements. Qualified walnut shell material is fed evenly into the pelletizing chamber for high-pressure extrusion. Fresh hot pellets are transported into the cooling sifter for temperature reduction and fine powder removal before final bag packaging.

This walnut shell pellet mill is primarily designed for processing various types of dry walnut shells, hard shells from walnut scraps, and other hard fruit shell materials. It is also compatible with processing hazelnut shells, apricot shells, peach shells, coconut shells, palm shells, and other high-hardness fruit shell materials. Additionally, it can be used with common agricultural and forestry biomass materials such as sawdust, bamboo shavings, and straw. A stable raw material moisture content of 10%-15% is required.
