Brief Introduction

The Cotton Straw Pelletizer is a biomass pelletizing equipment developed specifically for the characteristics of cotton stalk materials. It is designed to extrude and process waste cotton stalks after harvesting into high-density biomass pellet fuel. The cotton stalk pellet mill is well-suited to the characteristics of coarse and tough cotton stalk fibers, turning waste cotton stalks into valuable resources and solving the problem of cotton stalk incineration. The produced cotton stalk pellets are high in hardness, well-formed, and easy to store and transport. It can be used as a standalone machine or integrated into a complete straw pellet production line, widely serving biomass pellet processing projects in cotton-producing areas.

Working Principle

After being crushed and having its moisture content adjusted, the cotton stalk raw material is fed into the feed hopper of the cotton stalk pellet mill. The material enters the pelleting chamber, where, under the pressure and frictional heating generated by the high-speed rotation of the pressure rollers, the cotton stalk fibers soften and are forcefully squeezed through the die holes. Extruded from the die holes, the material is cut into pellets of a specified length by a cutter. The finished cotton stalk pellets are then discharged from the machine, completing the entire pelleting process. This process relies on physical high-pressure extrusion molding, eliminating the need for additional adhesives; the cotton stalk's own woody fibers are used for bonding and molding.

Suitable Raw Materials

The cotton stalk pellet mill is designed to work with cotton stalks, cotton firewood, cotton husks, and cotton boll residue. It is also compatible with various biomass raw materials such as corn stalks, wheat stalks, rice husks, peanut vines, various crop stalks, sawdust, and branches. The raw materials need to be crushed in advance and the moisture content needs to be controlled within a suitable range before they can be pelletized.
