Brief Introduction
TONY rice straw wood shavings mixed pellet mill is a vertical ring die pelletizing unit engineered specially for compound biomass feedstock. It blends agricultural rice straw residues and timber-origin wood shavings, forming premium composite fuel pellets without extra binders. It helps operators combine low-cost farm straw waste with wood scraps to produce market-adjustable biomass fuel.
Working Principle
Harvested rice straw is shredded into short fiber segments and mixed proportionally with collected wood shavings; combined stock passes magnetic sorting and sifting to eliminate grit and metal contaminants, then moisture is homogenized to a narrow target window to offset the natural moisture gap between straw and wood fractions. Homogenized mixed feed enters the pellet chamber for high-pressure extrusion; freshly extruded composite pellets travel through airflow cooling and sifting to separate fines before bagging and storage.
