5–6 ton/hour bagasse pellet line is customized for resource utilization projects supporting sugar mills. It takes bagasse, the by-product of sugar production, as the main raw material and solves the pain points of large bagasse stock, difficult storage and easy mildew and rot.
Bagasse features long fiber, high sugar content and high initial moisture. The production line adopts targeted pretreatment: special dispersing equipment breaks up agglomerated bagasse, and an efficient drying system precisely controls moisture. Reinforced pelleting hosts matched with high-fiber materials and optimized ring die compression ratio are adopted to overcome the difficulties of bagasse pelleting, such as poor formability and loose pellets.
The whole line runs continuously and automatically from feeding, impurity removal, drying, conditioning, pelleting, cooling and screening to finished packaging. The produced bagasse pellets are clean agricultural biomass fuel. They can be supplied back to boilers of sugar mills for self-use or sold to biomass power plants and industrial kilns. With parameter adjustment, the line can also produce pellets as organic fertilizer carriers.
It is recommended for sugar factories and investment projects in areas with concentrated sugarcane planting. It locally consumes sugar residues, cuts the waste disposal cost of sugar mills and realizes value addition of industrial by-products.
