This 3–4 ton/hour wood pallet pellet line is a dedicated biomass pelleting system for waste fumigation pallets, storage skids and packaging wooden pallets. Waste pallets usually contain nails, fasteners and glue layers. Therefore, the production line is equipped with a special pallet shredder and high-strength magnetic separation system in the front section, which can shred pallets and continuously separate metal impurities to avoid damage to the main pelleting machine caused by hard foreign objects.
Subsequent processes include adjustable-temperature rotary drying, ring die pelleting, counter-flow cooling and automatic packaging. Considering the large fluctuation of moisture content and glue residue of pallet wood, the conditioning section is optimized to improve pellet forming rate and reduce cracking and powdering. The finished pellets have stable calorific value and are supplied to regional heating boilers, heat sources for food factories and biomass traders.
