Brief Introduction

TONY Brand 12.5–15TPH Wet Straw Pellet Line turns wet straw and other agricultural biomass waste into biomass pellets. Straw pellets serve two functions. As fuel, they are suitable for power plant boilers, industrial boilers and home heating. Their calorific value is close to coal, featuring lower cost and low-pollution combustion, making them an environmentally friendly fuel. When used as livestock feed, pellets made by the straw pellet mill make full use of crop residues, reduce feed expenses and resolve the problem of straw waste disposal.

Processing Procedure

This Pellet Line Will Use About Six Processes To Proceed Wet Straw With Moisture 30-35% Into 6-8mm Pellets.

It Mainly Contains:1. Grinding Process→2. Fine Crushing Process→3. Drying Process→4. Pelletizing Process→5. Cooling Process→6. Packing Process Total Six Processes As Above.

It mainly contains the following steps and machines as following:

1.Use TONY straw cutter to grind wet straw bales φ ≤2.2m into 60-70mm wet straw pieces.

2.Use TONY effective hammer mill to crush 60-70mm wet straw pieces into 8-14mm wet straw dust.

3.Use TONY rotary drum dryer to dry the 30-35% wet straw dust into 10-15% dried straw dust

4.Use TONY vertical ring die pellet machine to products pellets with φ6-8mm.

5.Use TONY galvanized pellets cooler to cool pellets from 80-90℃ to 20-30℃.

6.Use TONY ton packing machine to pack the pellets into 1 ton/bags.

Biomass Pellets- -Green Clean Energy

1.Renewable Energy 

Straw belongs to green vegetation and counts as a renewable energy resource. Plants capture solar power via photosynthesis, turning carbon dioxide and water into biomass. During combustion, straw releases CO₂ and water vapor. Biomass keeps regenerating with sunlight available. In theory, biomass energy can realize net-zero carbon emissions and greatly support climate regulation. Biomass feedstocks including straw and rice husks can be fabricated into high-density, high-heat pellet fuels, serving as substitutes for fossil fuels like coal and petroleum. Such pellets are widely acknowledged globally as clean energy. Biomass fuel features ultra-low sulfur levels, less than one-tenth of coal, which limits SO₂ generation. It is a natural, endlessly replenishable energy resource that fits the national sustainable development roadmap.

2.Low-Pollution Fuel 

Pellets mainly produced from straw deliver low-emission combustion. Test data from Liaoning Boiler Product Performance & Quality Supervision Inspection Station shows the fuel carries an ash content of 7.99% and sulfur content of 0.07%, while combustible volatile matter reaches 83.61%. Compared with low-calorific coal of the same category, its ash value drops by 70%, and sulfur content cuts roughly 90% against 1% low-sulfur coal. Boiler combustion tests for straw pellets show SO₂ emissions at merely 32 mg/m³ and smoke particulate matter below 50 mg/m³. Besides, straw fuel contains 3–4 times more oxygen than coal and fewer heavy hydrocarbons. It supports complete combustion, keeping flue gas blackness under Ringelmann Scale Grade 1.
