Working Principle

The main operating principle of a combined crusher is to place material into a crushing chamber, where it is impacted, crushed, and sheared by high-speed rotating hammers or blades, resulting in finer particles. The specific operating principle is as follows:

1.Material Feed: Material is fed into the crushing chamber through the feed port.

2.Crushing Chamber: Once the material enters the crushing chamber, it is impacted and sheared by the high-speed rotating hammers or blades. The hammers or blades rotate at high speeds through a shaft driven by an electric motor, colliding with the material and crushing it.

3.Crushing Process: The hammers or blades in the crushing chamber continuously strike the material, creating impact and shear forces that cause it to break down. The degree of crushing can be controlled by adjusting the speed, number, and position of the hammers or blades.

4.Discharge: The crushed material is screened through a mesh screen. Once the desired chip size is reached, smaller chips pass through the screen, while larger chips continue to be crushed in the crushing chamber until the desired size is reached.

5.Motor: The crusher's motor provides power, driving the hammers or blades at high speed, while simultaneously driving the feed mechanism and screen.

1.Feeding Device：It adopts a chain-type intelligent feeding system, the same type fitted on integrated biomass wood crushers. The system automatically regulates feeding speed according to the load of the main motor. 3.Discharge Device：Its function is to convey crushed material out of the machine. Certain models come with an attached screening unit: fractions failing to meet target particle size will be sent back into the crushing chamber for reprocessing.

TONY Comprehensive Chipper In The Biomass Pellet Poduction Line

Wood serves as the primary feedstock for manufacturing wood pellets.

If you intend to build a proper 3‑4 tons per hour wood‑chip pellet production line that takes wood as raw material, here is the general process layout.

To start with, a heavy‑duty wood chipper breaks down raw wood materials into wood chips ranging from 2.5 cm to 3.5 cm in size.

Following the chipping step, a wood fine crusher further reduces these wood chips into sawdust particles measuring 6‑12 mm.

Raw wood usually carries 30‑50 percent moisture. When moisture levels are too high for pelleting, a drying unit has to be incorporated into the workflow to lower the water content of the material.

After drying, material enters a vertical ring‑die wood pellet mill, where it gets compressed to form premium‑grade wood pellets.

Pellets coming straight out of the pellet mill are warm and lack sufficient hardness. They go through a cooling machine for temperature reduction and solidification.

After cooling treatment, finished pellets are conveyed to the packaging station. They will be packed and kept under dry storage conditions. To satisfy diverse market requirements, end‑product wood pellets can be supplied in either one‑ton bulk bags or smaller‑sized packaged sacks.
