Brief Introduction

Sorghum stalks have a high degree of lignification and are coarse and hard, making them prone to problems such as difficulty in pressing and loose pellets when using ordinary pelleting equipment. Sorghum stalk pellet mills are specifically optimized for the coarse and hard stalks and fiber structure of sorghum stalks, compacting and solidifying the large amount of waste sorghum stalks after harvest into regular pellets. Working Principle

After being crushed, impurities removed, and meeting the required moisture content, the sorghum stalk material is conveyed into the pelleting chamber of the sorghum stalk pellet mill. The transmission system drives the pressure rollers to rotate at high speed, continuously applying high pressure to the sorghum stalks inside the ring die. The material heats up due to pressure and friction, softening and polymerizing the lignin and fiber tissue inside the sorghum stalks, eliminating the need for additional glue or adhesive. The material is forcefully squeezed through the die holes and extruded outwards. The machine's built-in rotating cutter cuts the strip-shaped material into uniform sorghum stalk pellets. The finished pellets are discharged from the outlet, and after cooling, their hardness is further improved, allowing them to be directly bagged and stored.

Core Raw Material: Triticale Straw

Compatible raw materials: Sweet sorghum stalks, corn stalks, hay, reeds, miscellaneous shrub scraps, various hard crop stalks, and some forage materials.

Material requirements: Raw materials must be pre-crushed and broken up, and impurities such as soil and sand must be removed by sieving. The moisture content should be controlled at 10-15%. Sand and gravel impurities need to be filtered in advance to protect the ring die and pressure rollers of the sorghum stalk pellet mill from damage by hard objects.
