Brief Introduction
TONY Ton Packing Machine is designed for the quantitative filling of bulk materials into 500–2,000 kg bags (such as FIBCs or "super sacks") and are widely used in industries handling biomass pellets, ores, grains, and organic fertilizers. Semi-automatic models are the mainstream choice; they require manual attachment of the bag's lifting loops and positioning of the bag opening, while weighing, material discharge, vibration-based compaction, and bag release are performed automatically. Fully automatic models, which can handle automatic bag feeding and attachment, require a higher investment.
Ton Packing Machine is mainly suitable for packing all kinds of bulk materials, the material size is 10-50mm with double-stage control valve, the packaging precision is controllable, automatic metering and weighing, and automatically complete the functions of bag clamping, bag lifting, quantitative, bag dropping, bag loosening and bag removing. Weighing side can be selected for upper weighing and lower weighing according to particle size, which is suitable for materials with good fluidity.

Working Principle
![]() | During operation, the operator attaches the bulk bag's lifting straps to the equipment's dedicated hooks, secures the bag opening around the discharge spout, and starts the machine; a pneumatic bag-clamping device automatically seals the opening, effectively preventing dust emissions during filling. The equipment first automatically tares the empty bag to zero, establishing a baseline for precise weighing. Material flows from the upper storage hopper into the feeding mechanism; the system employs a dual-speed (fast/slow) feeding mode—filling rapidly to boost efficiency, then automatically switching to a slow feed as the target weight approaches to compensate for material in-flight and ensure consistent weighing accuracy. Once the preset weight is reached, the equipment automatically stops feeding, completing the metered filling process. For granular materials, a vibration platform at the base operates simultaneously to expel air and compact the contents, ensuring the bag takes on a neat, full shape and preventing issues like looseness or bag collapse during transport. After filling, the clamp releases, the hooks smoothly disengage, and the finished bulk bag drops onto the conveyor platform for transfer to storage by forklift. |
The entire machine is intelligently controlled by a PLC system featuring automatic zero calibration, out-of-tolerance alarms, and self-diagnostic functions. It offers stable operation and ease of use, significantly reducing manual labor and making it ideal for continuous, high-volume bulk bag packaging operations in factory settings.
Working Process
1.Operators manually attach the four lifting straps of the bulk bag to the equipment's hooks and fit the bag opening over the discharge clamp; upon activation, a pneumatic cylinder clamps the opening, and the system automatically tares the empty bag.
2.The equipment starts with a high-speed filling phase; once the weight reaches 90–95% of the target, it switches to a slow, precision-feeding mode, with sensors monitoring weight in real-time to compensate for material in flight.
3.Upon reaching the target weight, feeding stops and the material is discharged into the bag; a vibration platform compacts the granules and expels air from within the bag.
4.Once filling is complete, the clamp releases, the hooks disengage the straps, and the bag is lowered onto a roller conveyor for forklift transport; the equipment then resets for the next cycle.
Operators are responsible only for hanging the bag; the weighing, filling, and release processes are fully automated.
Main Parts

1.Main Frame: Heavy-duty steel structure (overhead or floor-mounted) designed to support the full weight of the filled bulk bag.
2.Buffer Hopper: Temporarily stores incoming material; optional vibration-assisted arch-breaking mechanism prevents bridging or clogging of granules.
3.Feeding Mechanism: Gravity-fed dual-stage gate system for granules; screw feeder for powders. Features fast and slow feed stages to balance speed and precision.
4.Weighing System (Core): Heavy-duty load cells paired with a weighing controller or PLC; supports tare, in-flight material compensation, and automatic zeroing. Available in two configurations: top-mounted (hopper weighing) or bottom-mounted platform (full-bag weighing).
5.Bag Suspension & Pneumatic Clamping: Four hooks secure the bag's lifting straps; a pneumatic clamp seals the discharge spout to prevent dust and spillage; optional air-inflation device expands the bag body.
6.Vibration/Compaction Platform: Base-mounted vibrator compacts material during filling and expels air; creates a stable, compact bag shape suitable for forklift handling and stacking (standard on biomass pellet models).
7.Dust Extraction Port: Connects to dust collection equipment to suppress dust generated during filling.
8.Bag Release & Conveying Mechanism: Hooks release upon completion of filling; the bag drops onto a roller conveyor for forklift transfer.
9.PLC & Touchscreen Control: Manages parameter settings, production totals, and fault alarms; supports integration with broader production line systems.
