Brief Introduction
The corn cob pellet mill is a specialized pelleting equipment for the resource utilization of agricultural and forestry solid waste. Its structure is specifically optimized for the loose texture and high sugar content of corn cobs. This mill can directly process waste corn cobs into neat and dense pellets, eliminating the problems of bulky storage and easy mold and rot caused by corn cob accumulation. This corn cob pellet mill can operate independently or be integrated with crushing, drying, and conveying equipment to form a complete production line. It is a core processing equipment for resource recovery, fuel processing, and auxiliary material pelleting in major corn-producing areas.
Working Principle
The pre-treated corn cob material is conveyed into the corn cob pellet mill. The material generates frictional heat under the relative grinding action of the pressure roller and the ring die. The lignin and sugar inside the corn cob are released by the heat and act as natural binders. The material is continuously squeezed through the small die holes of the ring die. After being formed, it is cut into pellets of uniform length by the cutter inside the machine. The formed corn cob pellets are discharged from the equipment by their own gravity. No glue is added throughout the process. The pelleting process is completed by pure physical extrusion.

Suitable Raw Materials
The core raw material is corn cob; it is also suitable for corn stalks, peanut shells, sawdust, wood chips, fruit shells, and various crop ear residues. The raw materials need to be crushed to a suitable particle size and the moisture content needs to be controlled within the standard range before they can be fed into the corn cob pellet mill to complete the pelleting production.
