Brief Introduction

The barley straw pelletizer is a biomass molding and processing equipment specially developed for the high fiber characteristics of barley straw. It can extrude and process loose barley straw into high-density solid pellets, meeting the needs of both fuel pellets and feed pellets. It effectively solves the pain points of barley straw stacking taking up a lot of space, inconvenient transportation, and easy decay, and helps to utilize agricultural waste resources. It can be used as a standalone machine or connected to a complete straw pellet production line for operation.

Working Principle

After being crushed and conditioned, barley straw is fed into the pelleting chamber of the barley straw pellet mill. The pressure roller and the ring die work together to apply high pressure to the material. The lignin in the straw acts as a natural binder, and the material is squeezed and shaped in the die hole. The shaped columnar material is continuously squeezed out of the die hole and then cut into pellets of a set length by an adjustable cutter, thus completing the pellet production process.

Suitable Raw Materials

The core raw material is barley straw, but it is also compatible with various herbaceous straw materials such as wheat straw, oat straw, hay, and corn straw. It can also be mixed with a small amount of rice husks and sawdust for pelleting. The raw materials need to be carefully controlled in terms of fineness and moisture content to ensure stable output and pelleting from the barley straw pellet mill.
